Youth involvement in community development and social change. I became aware of it at an early stage in life and what currently impresses me the most is the Ministry of Youth Affairs incorporating the ideas of a 13 year old Kenyan, Trevor Langat kibet in the budget speech. This shows that youth ideas are no longer being shunned and that our leaders are moving in the right direction in appreciating what youngsters have to offer. ( lees verder)

Inspiration is about giving out what is real within you, I am inspired by the wars, suffering and poverty I see in my country Sierra Leone. I am therefore inspired to helping vulnerable communities in giving out their best and their success stories being a source of motivation to others who are in similar circumstances that life will change for the better if you so desire. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, watching the sunrise in the early morning, the growth of plants from seeds to harvest, and star filled nights. I had the privilege of living and working in the small coffee producing community of Los Cacaos in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. With my love of nature and my background in organic agriculture this experience inspires me daily as to the joys of working in solidarity with people who are making positive changes in the world.
